I have determined that this issue is account specific and not related to the install on my machine. I was able to log into another account with no trouble at all, so I'm left to assume that it has something to do with the character I last logged into.

I was going to try that in the morning when I get home from work was going to see if someone I know in the game had a boddy key I could use to test it out. Thanks for letting us know that it could be account specific.

Bump...It's Monday morning. Same issue still. Dev's must have had their coffee by now. Lets hope they read this and at least let us know they are at least aware multiple ppl are having the same issue and they are working on it.

Cryptic: WHAT IS THE SOLUTION

This is a critical game stoppage issue. We CANNOT play with this situation. Each time I boot into the game it IMMEDIATELY crashes to the desktop on character select.

I know how your feeling i been on hold fr over a hr right now trying to get a hold of them.

It's unbelievable there isn't a single dev response in the forums on this. I have a feeling that this is a huge character corruption issue in the database.

I don't want to even think what that means to our toons and the possibilities of recovery.

was on the phone for a hr with them 2 hrs if you count the hold they had to move my klingon to a diffet zone and i was able to log in. I gess he got lost in space but it worked

Since the mess over the weekend I cannot log into either of my FED Characters but can log into my Klingon Char. Can Someone please explain this to me??? Same username and password 3 Char builds, 2 fed 1 klingon and can only play my klingon char.
