I always take an isle or window seat. I prefer to be in the front of the plane or by a door so I get a bit more leg room. The type of plane doesn't really matter to me. The last time I flew to and from Cinci, it was a smaller plane. It was a nice flight though. I will not fly Canadian airlines at all! Terrible service, ridiculous prices, and a lack of custumer service in all aspects.
i never flew on a plane that was a stretch version of the original design
after FOD'ing the ramp and seeing tail strikes..
the yoke is so powerful on the hydraulic an inadvertent bump of the yoke can swing a massive tow bar and tug..
I miss the British RJs the Canadian Bombardier fast computer feeder interesting small plane.. sort of like a Lear stretched out and made commercial in concept..
old planes turned custom sport team charters have higher cabins and excellent cargo holds.
the outrageous surcharges were always built into the ticket price.. my cousins still an FA.. the only thing demanding an add on fee would be the drink. as it kept some from getting to happy to mind their manners and
its poor form to pat low as you go by an isle. Window Plz.. i gave my flying Buddie the window so she could see the front row right view in a row of two seats... the sushi was great as the flight was transferring Pacific Rim traffic out of San Diego.. as my cousin had trained the crew the lead FA gave us the royalty treatment
in a A-320.. the 757 was sent to LAX.. so a larger plane ride wasent alvalable.. she wanted to head to her home area earlier.. and i said well its drive to LAX in the rental or go 2 days early.. from here. I enjoyed SEATAC more the NW is so green .. ah well.

The last Delta flight I was on I believe was an A something. A row of 2 seasts side by side on the left and a row of single seats on the right. The plane seated about 40 people I'm guessing at max capacity. Nice flight though Cinci to Toronto. This plane never pulled up at a proper terminal either. You had to walk out onto the airfield to board it.
oh my yes indeed... i saw a posting for refuelers at my old station... that company used to hire our folks to do PT refueling.. its pay wasent so hot.. i believe mum had to turn down a CSA or Cleaner post cause it was a dif barginning group when her flight kitchen closed. due to outsourcing http://www.planespotters.net/Airline/Delta-Air-Lines

For whatever reason, some people tend to have better experiences than others with certain airlines. I have no problem choosing Delta again if they fly direct to where I'm going. My aunt, for example likes to fly Air Transat but I haven't had a good experience on their airlines any of the 3 times I have flown them. Even their business class is crap! It's a shame Alaskan doesn't fly to a lot of the places I need to go from where I start from. If they did, I would gladly fly with them, even if it cost me more.
My first flight to and from England was on Air Canada. I know how horrible their service is. I have yet to find a single Canadian airline I have enjoyed flying on.

Well its like a boutique Airlines thing..
Cira yr 2000
bloat leaves people with zero airlines background in management.. leaves common shares trading 20 some USD lower then industry experts say it should trade.. leaves an airline leasing its own planes from a holding company when the whole fleet was aging but paid for.. Leaves low ball bids on table to buy out feeder line .. healthy financial corporate forgetting to hedge fuel cost.. and then trying to buy Continental for low ball bid..
then buying Airbus.. without a repair facility for them.. hires college buddie as a VP to manage fleet fuel cost then giving them 11.6million usd serverance package when work force is under wage consesions.. and managment lvl upper tier can sell free bonus perfered stocks for 32.50 USD when lower tiers and union cant sell ..president leaves to work for previous employer in non-airlines industry w golden parachute.. equiv to 100
plus laid-off workers saleries.. for more then a whole year..
Well its cabin filter mouse nest huntign season.. turn on heater smell buring mouse hair...
