Hey! ouch! It's MG's fault, mallett him... Actually come to think of it, Where is MG today?
No, I got a transfer to a new account at the start of this week, so instead of dealing with Royal Mail users directly and fixing their personal laptops or desktops, I am instead working "behind the scenes" on the National Grid in a 'basement' (it's actually called "lower ground" and has natural light!) building and configuring laptops and diagnosing faulty laptops that don't connect to the roaming network.
The laptops on the NG account are Panasonic Toughbooks (for REAL engineers in the field fixing and maintaining the gas & electricity networks), so it's quite a change from the normal IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads that are the bread-and-butter of RMG work.
Hence why I was only on 'earlies' one day this week (Wednesday?). I'm suprised nobody asked sooner.
