So the gold farmers are actually sending private messages as a live person and not a bot. Got a PM last night from a total stranger who had one of those fhdjkslhfjk names for a global and an actual name for a captain name. I was asked if I would like some credits. I reply, "NO." after a couple minutes, I get another tell from the same person saying, "ok thanks you."
So to test out my theory of him being a gold farmer and spammer, I send him a tell something to the affect of, "Nobody else wants your gold farming credits either. In fact, people will report you and keep on reporting you until your companies finally leave our game. No money to be made here."
I wait about 5 minutes for a reply, thinking if this person really was not a gold farmer, he/she would at least defend themselves and claim he/she is not a gold farmer. No reply.
Now granted, there are a half dozen or another reasons this person could possibly not be a gold farmer, but with a global name like that, the fact he/she was trying to entice me to credits and the fact he/she did not defend themselves after being accused of being a gold farmer, I would say there is a pretty good chance he/she was a gold farmer and they have moved on to new tactics to get people to buy.
Pretty much, I reported them and left it up to the GMs to investigate.
So be on the look out, gang. New Gold Farming Tactics appear to be on the way.
So...someone asked if you wanted some credits and because you can't read in any language other than English you assumed it was a gold spammer? How novel.

Oh yeah, because we all know that was the *only* reason I assumed they were gold spammers...

well with a global name like hjhhgjkhh it seems kind of sketchy... he/she was also polite about saying no...
