Perhaps you meant "Is it against Cryptic's rules?"
Are you really this stupid?

Or were you trolling?

It really is.
Everything in EVE-Online is tilted in the direction of people who want to gank, pirate, and generally be mean.
You're not even safe mining in high-sec anymore.

They allow basically everything bad that can happen to you to happen to you. I hate EVE-Online.
It's like the CCP Developers WANT people to be mean to other players.

BS, you are just butthurt cos someone ganked your new merlin at a gate.

I mine all day long in .5 with at least 40 players in local, the pvp is clean and the miners are left to do their thing.
if a certain area is too rough try another one.

Sandbox games aren't for everyone, I'm sure CCP knows this.

Like I said, not for everyone. They are a sub category of MMO, a niche game type.

Personally, I love them.

What is Cryptic's stance on in-game scamming of players for profit and tears?

I need a new profession and scamming is always profitable.
Why would you want to try to scam someone? There is little in the game for you to get from someone that will make you any better off, all you would do is make them maybe slightly inconvenienced and confused at your actions. Or maybe you like to have more credits sat in your inventory doing nothing, with nothing to buy.

Actually, that's one of the things I enjoy about EvE. It promotes playing smartly and teamwork. Solo-mining anywhere is a bad idea, high, low, or null-sec. You should always have a complement of fighters to protect you from raiders.

Would you go digging through trash cans in a dark alley in a metro area alone? If you would, you are asking to get mugged or worse. Same rule applies to solo-mining in EvE.

But you would dig through trash cans with your mates there?
