Ipigi,

What are you using to make your movies? Software? Edit options? Music overlay options? Tips?

Appreciate it.

Videos are good for the game, so I'm glad you guys are putting these out.

I'd be interested in recording tips as well, mostly because FRAPS eats ridiculously large amounts of disk space and breaks across a million files when I try to record with it, and stitching/encoding is a huge pain.

Regarding the content: I don't have a team to do premades, so I won't judge, but WHY does one of the Klingons in the Briar Patch video keep using short duration SNBs? Is he trying to "kick" a critical ES? It doesn't seem to be working out very well in the video.

I am using Fraps and having to paste all those files together. I have a large drive (1TB) so I can record without having to worry about disk space. Although a 15 min video will take up like 100GB... The quality is amazing though.

I use TMPGEnc to convert video files into a more manageable size and to cut out the useless beginning/ends of a match.

I convert the files to MPEG2 HL profile, 4000-5000 Bitrate, 1280x720 resolution at 1:1 pixel ratio. I could go higher bitrate for better quality, but a 10 minute video is already 300Megs at that size, and it takes a while to upload to youtube.

I just think he's using SNB wrong.
