1. When are the changes to powers that were talked about in the Tribble forums going to be released?
2. Do you guys have any current plan for Open PvP, perhaps in the form of Neutral Zones? I know that Jack Emmert made a post on the forums saying he and the CEO wanted to add Open PvP, but that it may take a while.
Like a 1v1 Challenge first to 3 out of 5 kills or something?
As strange as it is to say, my girlfriend has been dying to square off against me. Her Tac Escort vs. my Tac Cruiser.
I want a "dual" option in PvP separate from team games or incorporated into a death match team mode with multiple players in an instance that can fly around each other and communicate, but where player weapon systems are disabled until a "dual" between two players is initiated.
Either the above mentioned suggestion or simply have current PvP games set up with the option to choose how many players can join, example would be 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, (not in game) and 5v5 (Currently in game)etc...
EDIT: Cryptic, can we have this option in some form or another please?
Are we going to see more organisation to the PvP scenario? For example:
Specifically arranged team & random arenas with auto-teaming (ala GuildWars) which yields more focused & interesting PvP.
Regional PvP with some form of persistence? e.g. a moving front line.
If anyone feels like a long read, I proposed a more in-depth regional PvP system here. The related question would of course be 'is any of this feasible, likely, or desirable?'
My last experience of PvP felt pretty disorganised as to how you end up in queues and which combat area etc. and beyond the initial 'I win' or 'I lost' experience, there isn't much going for it in terms of game effect.
