Horatio, Nim, and others where beside themselves, no one could have foreseen Lock being lost like this, it just didn't seem possible the young Captain would have fallen in Combat.

Smoke billowed onto the bridge as Lock pulled himself back into his command chair.

"Freya report!"

The AI blinked into view on the bridge as her holo matrix tried to establish a clear veiw of the AI in the smoke and debree.

"Shields are at 25% and we have lost warp drive, 98% probability that the temporal engine is offline and we will not be able to return to our own time."

"What year is it?"

"The exact date is November 7th 2012."

Lock looked over to his XO and he uttered the words.

"Bloody brilliant!"
