Good morning, 12th Fleet.
And a sweet shore leave it has been. Counting down to Monday Night Football.

Weekend shore leave was relaxing. Sadly it is almost over now, and it will be crunch time on alpha shift this week. Ah well!

Talking about clocks stopping, I kept having the strangest thing happen with my watch. Three times now I looked down and noticed that my watch had stopped at nearly the exact instant that I had looked down at it. The time was right, but the watch seemed dead in the water. Or at least the second hand did. I thought, wow, that is either some crazy coincidence for that to happen a few times, or must be a temporal anomaly! Sadly, it was more mundane. I realized later that the watch has a lap time feature or something that I didn't know about and somehow I was hitting the button that shut off the second hand. I thought it was pretty funny that my head lept to temporal anomaly before the easy answer though.

Don't feel bad.

My messenger bag has a stuffed clip on TARDIS hanging from it and when you squeeze it a light on top flashes and it makes the "vroop vroop vroop" noise.

I left for work the other night and bumped it and when it started going off my first instinct was to look around for The Doctor. Talk about your head leaping to funny places..
