A) An android
B) A hologram
C) A Cyborg with zombie parts
D) A virtual reality program
E) Tamed zombie (if you chose this option also explain how you'll prevent it from eating you!)
I would have a tamed zombie and the way I would prevent it from eating me is just keep it chained up in my game room where all my video consoles are so I can play multiplayer with it and also would feed it raw beef

Multiplayer games or play with the zombie? :p

Btw, I'd recommend using Kinect with the zombie then, I doubt it knows how to use a controller.

So... Anybody else got some ideas about how to tackle the companionship problem in a post apocalistic world that's taken over by zombies? :p

I would choose a virtual reality program so I didn't have to see the grim outside world. I could also have "people" to interact with.

True true... but how do you know when zombies attack your hide out/ lair/ bunker or whatever you're holding up in when you're stuck in VR?

I have to admit though that VR sounds more fun then a hologram, but I'm afraid I might spend more time there then in reality and eventually stop taking care of the other nessecaties to stay alive.

This is pretty much what I do with video games anyway so it won't be too much of a change for me... :p

Would have to be the android. Noonian Soong style. Strong, fast, intelligent. However, this time female, anatomically correct and in Data's words 'fully functional'. She would be able to keep me company, engage in interesting conversation, protect me from the zombies and cater for all my needs. Lets face it - Soong made Data's 'mother' an emotionally responsive android, indstinguishable from a human, who acted as his wife for several years. She was also as strong, fast and intelligent as Data if not more so. If im last man standing, i want one.

Aye, it sounds ideal... Until she decides that a human companion simply won't do for her, kills you and replaces you with an android. :p

In that aspect a hologram would be a much safer companion, keep in mind that they're both still programmed by humans and as such aren't flawless since we humans are flawed by nature. To speak in Spock words, "it would be illogical for a flawed creator to create a flawless creation."

You might want to keep that in mind!

I'm on the android team, for all the reasons stated above. And Data never killed the crew of the Enterprise because he could do it better
