The Terran Empire was founded in the 1950's. Altough you could say that the birth of the innterstallar Terran Empire was today. :p

In honor of the holiday, you're welcome to a day off...is that what you had in mind?

Well at least some player's made an impromptu event. Club 47, SB01, Zone #19 if you can get in.

I think we beat Cryptic to the punch... the party started before there was even a news post on the website.

Agreed, it's a fun idea that could definitely translate well to an in game event like SWG's empire day celebration or any of WoW's seasonal week long events. Maybe they'll get something prepared to celebrate the launch of Earth's first warp 5 ship (April 12, 2151) and other such notable dates like "Federation Day" if not this year perhaps for next.

I actually posted a thread about this very topic here a while ago. And it really would be cool if this was just a starting point for Seasonal Holiday Content. A simple nod on the news page, next time an event at a missle complex in Central Montanna.

I live just south of central Montana. (Big Timber, MT in fact.) Wonder how far away I am from fiction here. =^^=
