A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
... the only tears I remember came from klingon players during the end of beta event, begging starfleet for mercy so they can jump out of Sol again.
Then you really did not understand what was happening. The 'tears' were ones of rage directed at Cryptic for having a joint spawn point that made the entire event a giant spawn camp.

In all fairness though.... I'd really rather fight alongside the Klingons than against them. Victory parties are a lot more fun when some Klingons are around, they really know how to celebrate.
Whereas I would much rather see Fed ships exploding in front of me :p
Well aren't you a sensitive little flower. I was trying to be helpful actually but I sometimes I forget what teh internetz does to people... my mistake
"Unlkikely." ??? This was helpful in your mind? I do agree, the internet does seem to cause some glitches in thinking. Have a nice day kitten, and thanks for the "help."
Couldn't replicate it, but I do remember occasions where a ship has gone into your inventory, instead of into your hanger, it could be that people have been sending the hsips to themselves when this has occured? I have not been able to replicate the bug that puts your ship into your inventory though to test this out.

Ahhh, I think I'm starting to understand where this is coming from; the condition you are refering to is the one that sent a ship to your inventory if you have max number of ships. I can see how it can happen now...
I was introducing a friend to the PvP side of STO lastnight. We were both playing Federation characters. He was in my group but out in sector space and was pulled into a Deep Space Encounter (DSE). I was back in the Sol system. He was killed while in the DSE. Our team queue turn came up and he accepted it before respawning in the DSE. When he spawned into the PvP space match he came in marked as a Klingon ship and was no longer part of our group. He was clearly flying a Federation T2 escort but he was flagged as an IKS and was on the Red team. We were able to engage each other without issue. I suggested that he report this as a bug. I don't know if he did or not. Can anyone replicate this? It may be related to whatever the other players have experienced.
The "Spawning into PvP when dead" bug has been reported many times and I believe the Devs have tagged it as a hot item (because it can be exploited in PvP.)
But I don't think that is related to actually flying a KDF ship as a klingon.
