Billed its users 17 times in a month. Warhammer Online made a colossal screw up this month and managed to accidently bill its customers 17-22 times, resulting in massive bank charges not to mention hundreds of /$ being taken out of peoples accounts. They've promised to refund the money within 24 hours, but i doubt that will stop banks from issuing ungodly fines to those affected.

I'm not Cryptics biggest fan, but i have to say whilst they have made a few billing errors at least we havent seen them mess up as badly as Mythic (yet).

You dodged that bullet. So did I, now that I think of it. I nearly considered trying it for a month a few weeks ago.

I thought it was all part of the Mythic / Bioware / EA conglomerate now.

Which doesn't bode well for The Old Republic.

Careful, if you dare suggest another company has ever screwed something up in this industry, you'll be called a Cryptic Fanboi(tm).

In related news, either Funcom did the same thing, or this *** player got his games terribly confused and blamed them for the War error...

It's not so bad... all they need to do is just offer those wronged people a refund or a Lifetime Subscription and everyone will be happy
