And Cap gains +24 cool points.

Did you notice the writing around the seal? It was the lessons Rolland was taught as a young boy. The same lessons he drilled into Detta and Eddie his ka-tet

Yeah, I noticed the writing. That game has so many subtle nods to the book. Makes me wonder what they could do if they went all-out and made a Dark Tower MMO.

That's not why I can die happy, though. The Dark Tower movie has been rumored to be in production for some time, and from what I understand, Abrams was going to start serious work on it once he finished Lost. I'm just wondering if, between this little flash game and the Marvel graphic novels, the movie could actually be on its way... Maybe even this year?
My wife will love this, she is a Stephen King fan (maybe one of the biggest) so it is something foroward her to look forward to, and thank you for the site, will give her somthgn to play.

Yes I noticed all of the references and nods. My disappointment hit epics levels though. Follow my mind a second.

Ooo an agency founded by somebody intimately familiar with Roland.
OMG, the training is based on his teachings.
A case, it is glowing...Oooo it must be..
WTF!!!! A Colt 1911 .45 ACP???! where is my revolver??! UGH they gave my a toy gun Roland would discard as junk. *cry*

The 1911's alright, but I agree with ya. Between a magazine-fed pistol and a bright plastic watergun, we both know what Roland would grab first. :p

yup, his wits.

I do not aim with my eye;

He who aims with his eye has forgotten the face of his father.

I aim with my hand.

I do not shoot with my hand;

He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.

I shoot with my mind.

I do not kill with my gun;

He who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.

I kill with my heart

Exactly.

I'm pretty sure Roland could kill us all ten times over with nothing but a shiny penny and a piece of string.

Have you read the graphic novels yet? They're more of a prologue to the books, but they're all kinds of awesome.

I have lots of King stuff, but as far as the Dark Tower series goes.

The Gunslinger
The Drawing of the Three
The Wasteland
Wizard and Glass
