A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
So today, playing my assault cruiser, experienced a bit of a WTF moment.
I'm T4 and fight a feedbacking ship. I've got Engineering Team I. And as I'm using, I notice that the resist percent is 35%. Now, this stands out to me because I use ET III on my other cruiser and those numbers are rather close, which obviously shouldn't be the case. After my buffs wear off, it drops back down to 22%, what I'd expect. HE I is also at 48%, before dropping down to its expected 30% value.
Bit of testing testing later, I've got it down to Attack Pattern Alpha being the cause. I get +59% attack strength from it, which matches the increase in resists.
Not just a UI bug, the numbers in the ship status defense for resists vary with the the strength of the buffs as well.
My theory is that +Damage Strength boosts resist buffs. If so, this should work for Attack Pattern Omega as well.
Tested with my escort, who has both Attack Pattern Alpha and Omega. Omega also boosts the resist amount buffs gives, by the amount of the +dmg strength of APO.
