Edit: Checked again this morning and it appears to be working as intended.

Previously it looked like I was losing any badges I already had when I handed in the daily - but my accounts been generally misbehaving in game for the past few days until Sundays maintenance which seems to have cured it.

Could you provide a more detailed description, because I have never expirienced anything like this, and im not sure i understand th issue.
