First interview talks about current priorities and season 2, no mention of klingon content in either
Second mentions klingons Briefly and no dates or any detail
They are apparently very happy with the launch and the current state of the klingon faction
If I wrote what I felt about those interviews I would be banned, so I wont lol
The game is turning into a big snore on the Klingon Side and it has been a big snore on the Fed side for some time now. No bad words, no electronic fence, no guard towers, only a magnetic shied to prevent beaming.

It needs to get better soon.
STO has no heart, no challenge, no joy. I don't think Cryptic is capable of the amount of "better" that is needed. If they took many of the ideas from ********* and converted them into Star Trek it would be a huge improvement. Not that ********* is the greatest game going, but compare to STO it rocks.

It does appears further Klingon developement has been sidelined again.
I believe they are focussing on the Diplomacy/First Contact elements which Starfleet players wanted.
When you look at the calendar theres nothing for Klingons of substance.
I'm simply amazed that people are surprised by this. After twelve months of either stonewalling or just lip service to Klingons this comes as a revealation ? Really ?

My guess, the same reason that they think nerfing science consoles and not addressing how that affects the overall game, when compared at least to tactical captain + escort, or saying VM is OP, or unremovable, but neglecting not that there is more than 1 debuff it removes, and those debuffs can be stacked. Heck, how about that going in 1 x 1 into a KDF/FEdball = win....
This pattern seems to have started back during the closed beta, and hasn't changed since. Logic would dictate that they either don't give a darn, or don't know how to fix it. Probably both. If they want to keep this going, they might want to look at D&DO, and remove the monthly fee. Then at least they'll have a playerbase before the year is up, 'cus right now, they'll be lucky to make it past the summer.
Make it past the summer?
They have enough money to make it a couple of years without the monthly sub. So if you include the monthly sub, the can make it longer.
Alot of people playing, guys.

Um, actually, he does mention Klingon content in the subspace radio interview:
"Concerning future spacebourn assets and content, will we ever see non starfleet vessels? Federation race specific or Privateer type vessels, for example?
We’re not planning on expanding the Federation gameplay into non-military factions (traders, privateers, etc.) in the short term. We’re planning on expanding the Klingon faction’s PvE content in the nearterm, and then we’re going to look at other playable factions. Adding privateer or trader gameplay is something that we’ve thought about, but we don’t expect a huge update there within the first year.
Beyond the (speculated) Cardassians and Romulans, what could the next two playable races likely be?
I think talking about that is premature, just a couple months from launch. We’re focusing on the Federation and Klingon factions right now. I think (DJ) Milam Garak is referring to the factions page on the official site, which we’ll be updating as time goes on. Bear in mind: Just because something is a faction doesn’t mean it’s a playable one."
