Channels for the different tiered command levels (Lieutenant, Lt. Commander, ... Admiral) for chatting and finding groups that work across zones and sectors. If you are ranked Captain then you can chat in the Captain channel and any channel below that but not the Admiral channel.

Also chat channels specific for Federation, Klingon, your individual species, or even the different classes of characters.

Or if these already exist, never mind.

You know you can make any of these channels yourself if you want, then advertise their existence to the players that may want to use them?

I don't think these kind of channels need to be added as defaults.
