# 1 Solving the Queue Problem
04-14-2010, 03:39 PM
I've seen much complaining about the death of FVK pvp. I understand that there are really long queue times for Fed side.

My suggestion.

Unify the queues.

Instead of having FVK Arena FVF Arena and KVK Arena make the queue just Arena.

The queue will then try to place you in FVK if there are 5 of each faction queuing, If only Feds are queuing it will make it a FVF and if only Klinks are queuing it will be a KVK.

This will at least keep everyones queue times short regardless of factions as long as there are 10 people queuing and because its defaulting.

Obviously I have no idea how hard this will be to implement but I believe it would be a really good fix for the FvK Pop balance.

Personally, I'd love to at least see a voluntary "sign me up for any map, anywhere, with anyone" que option. So as soon as any map needs an extra player of my rank and faction, I go to that one.I like playing on a map I don't particularly like much more than waiting in sector space for 30 minutes for one I like slightly more. >_>
