Muhahahahaha. Now we know all your secrets! All your base are belong to us!!!

Do you really think your crazy DPS strategies will work? Do you not know we feds are technologically superior? So go ahead and use your cloak...and BoP's with universal BO slots....and higher mobility...and cruisers with cannons. Ugh...primitives. Just wait until your DPS build encounters our ships. Why? We have 3000 more hull points than you....yeah, thats right...I said three THOUSAND!! So when you're blasting away at one of our technologically superior ships, and wondering, "Dear god, why won't he die?!", you'll know....and weep.

Oh, and did I mention that we also have one more device slot? And one more console? Lets see your inferior scientists pull that one off.

Why do we always have one escort fly off by himself? To give you guys a chance, duh!

um
what the fragg are u saying now.

Shall I quote ur whining about Klingon superiority from dozens of post earlier made? And since when do Feds win anything, besides being Oh so proud they passed the 100k dps marker for the FIRST time ever in a PvP game. This threadmaster of this post should have picked a better name for his opinions. I get what he intended, just the way he did it is kinda, lenghty.

And um Izzx, stop posting since u don't even have an account ingame, ur just trolling.

shoosh, go away, shoosh shoosh

A funny, intellectual, and informative post??!!
Nice job, ya actually made me LoL.

I'd actually like to make a note on some of the stuff.
Mines, only useful if one of the following occurs:
1. Shields are down, lots of mine out, mines in range, and pts spent to increase them
2. Used a "get off my butt" tactic w/ chronitons.

I think Fed's just use them as anti-cloak defense. However, they can do that all they want. Means a lower broadside incoming, or otherwise wasted weapon slot, I have to deal with.

I found, that unless either being a purely support BoP or Carrier, the high Aux powers, are only effective, when stacked w/ lots of EPS flows and/or batteries/BO powers to boost that. Being that more often than note, I am seeing a 5-1 or greater ratio of cannons to beams, I found FBP to be worthless to me. I'd rather have a HE, JS, TB, VM, or w/e to fill the slot, that would give me a better uptime of usage. (beit team/self use)

Note on SNB, on my BoP, it's only a 3/5sec, same on my BC, so I just use it as a finisher skill.
Shields on the OpFor are down/close, low hull, or w/e, I pop the target w/ SNB. Though if it's a kill target, and I see a support ship inbound to it, I'll SNB/VM the support ship. It's my, " I'll get back to you later " move.

I have found, that ungrouped KDF = dead KDF. I can't see shields, location of fight after repop, nor can I see hulls, or have an easier time w/ target of target. (I use this quite frequently to assist in PvP, so I can have at least 2 ppl shooting 1 guy, or find the OpFor's prime)

Lastly, mostly everything you said was dead on. Some things were playstyle debates, but that's for a different thread.

regarding engineering team VS hazard emitters; the two have different uses.

Engineering team is a large spike heal which is best used when the recipiant has a lower health value. preferably you want to wait until you can get 90% of the heal to actually heal the target and overheal as little as possible. since there is no overcap potential for hulls, any healing done over the "top" level of hull is lost - essentially making your engineering team much weaker.

hazard emitters on the other hand is a handy HOT heal, best used when the target is at about 75+% of his health. because it doesn't give a spike heal its best used when the target starts to take damage so that it can last long enough to give a decent heal and apply its resistance. Be wary of using it on lower health targets because they can often die before hazard emitters lasts long enough to make an effect.

basically, higher health = hazard emitters, lower health = engineering team, heavy spike = both.

Hey Rattlesnake, nice post though I wouldn't expexct anything else. You can change your section about Omega Strike, it's also the part of imba damage scheme.

If I can put a small addition to what you already said:

Insane damage scheme: rapid fire + alpha + beta +omega + fire on my mark + go down fighting + tac team =
1.) escort - dies in 2 volleys of your disruptors
2.) sci - dies in 3
3.) cruiser - 5 volleys tops but if they tank it's different

And that is whithout a HY3 plasma torp and ramming speed. Decloak fully buffed 0,5 km behind a cruiser, shoot one disruptor volley, fire the torpedo and if you crit with a plasma torp it's insta-gibbed.

And a last piece of advice from me, please decloak behind your enemy, it's so much smarter!

Just my 2 cents to help out lesser experienced Klingon captains to keep on winning 9/10 games.

Oh yes, this would be a realy nice sticky.

First off....go get a sense of humor.

Second...I whine about klingon ship superiority, not klingon superiority. Big difference.

Third...I don't have an account ingame? Could've fooled me.

Fourth...the OP did a good job, I actually learned something I didn't know from previous posts.

Fifth....All your base are belong to us!!!

Err.. what? The superiority sits between the chair and the keyboard, the ability to team up and reasonably reliable focus wins 10 times whatever ship differences are available. What is your problem? Cannons? I use beams, because they're just so much better than cannons for me... yes, FBP is a sad thing indeed, but that's a game design failure and will get fixed. Soon, I hope.
Cloak/Alpha strike? Damage is too high, no surprise there, either. But that's true for feds, too.
BoPs? You mean the most squishy class Klings get? And still, i'd rather extend a raptor, because he'll do more damage 9 times out of 10.
Nubsuckleonic Beam and VM? Once again, a sci balance problem, not a Klingon one.

Stop being ridiculous and start by making a team and using that macro I gave you. I'll hang for high treason for that alone, but I can't stand how utterly .... well, I won't type it, just insert 'very, very bad'... most Fed Pugs are. And the better ones are as skilled as a Klingon at tier 3.
I mean, there are feds who can single handedly win a match in their escort by exploiting the insane damage scheme - your whining is just plain wrong. Fed cruisers even without with fancy efficient engines can heal just as well as I can - but they don't, because they suck.
Go grow some skills, I wrote this up for you as well.

I think Izzx was being sarcastic. Just another way of whining to switch it up from the normal two-year-old voice.

Nobody seems to appreciate my sense of humor. I thought it was pretty funny.

I know, no klingon wants to hear the truth, it will bruise their egos. Far better to believe that it's just their superior skill that's winning the day. And that somehow, 95% of feds are terrible players. I won't argue that there are some terrible players. And to be honest, I've never seen a bad klingon player, but that would be because their cloaked, lol. I got a million of em.

I could point out all the advantages klingons have, but lets be honest, you know what they are.
