Not yet, maybe...
I have one comment, I had over 5,000 points over two $25 purchases, gearing up for the discount thingy, I had already spent some pre-discount, but I had over 3,500 points, I bought the Nimbus, Science bridges, two respec tokens as I was playing around with the differences between utilizing nade-spam and Security setups, then I figured out you can do BOTH if done right using the Support Tactical Kit, you can get Overwatch 3 with nade spamming, if you combine it with all-commander-rank BO's and bring two tacticals with one shield/med generator/quick fix/shield recharge engineer and a mass-healer science, your team is pretty nasty to deal with against the AI most of the time, and having something different from Security Protocol X is pretty much a free ticket to getting teams to do STF's with.
Anyway, it seems like I ended up with many fewer C-Points than I started with, despite making few purchases, I still have like 2100, so I can focus it all on bridge/ship packs now, but I hope that new ship designs come in packs based on Tier and Class, say they make a Tier-4 Cruiser variant for Feds next, fine, make sure to give us a new Tier-4 Klink Cruiser variant and keep the price the same, that way we get PVE and PVP as the same thing, rather than double or triple-charging us like it is right now.
Tiers and Classes of ships and bridges should come in both F and K packs, sold as one, but keep the price to 400 or so, never more than 500, and you'll sell them like hotcakes.
I got two extra char slots under discount while I could, because I wanted, to start with, one Fed char per Career, and one Klink per career, even if I mix up the careers with different ships because the current patches have hosed Science as a viable thing, and Engineer Captain on a Cruiser is a bad match compared to a Tactical on Cruiser, which isn't always bad, I see science captains on Escorts these days for reasons I can't fully explain, but it has something to do with the science and eng consoles getting a nerf-kill, while tac consoles are not nerfed one bit, making cruisers and survivalist-built Advanced Escorts the best way to handle mitigation of the over-all killbait of Science ships, let alone nerfing science powers and the already-mentioned console nerfs.
I still have pre-nerf science consoles that are vastly superior to anything you'll find even on the exchange today, but I only share them with my 11 fleet members, we operate as a full squadron at all times, we split into three 3-ship teams or two 6-ship teams depending on what's going down, but all of us can take care of anything PVE on our own, in fact, I much look forward to the difficulty slider at this point because I'm bored to death of always using enemy battleships as nothing but target practice while my ship is a tier or sometimes two down from what I'm fighting against...
I sure do hope, that the slider will not just make more mobs, but instead improves the ships themselves you end up fighting with in PVE, gives them better BO powers to use on you, ETC...I'd prefer enemies to be equal to me if not better, makes for a more involved game and all, but I don't want massive over-spawns because then it's just another weakling challenge in a larger scale, instead of a genuine challenge against enemies on your own level, so to speak...I don't want waves of fodder, I want genuine enemies who are nearly as hard to beat-down as I am, this includes ground missions too, I get tired of owning everything on the dirt sometimes.
I want a slider that does not just increase spawns, that's stupid and not effective in creating a genuine difficulty change, either up or down. Also, rewards from kills at higher slider levels should be better too, rather than just getting batteries and other junk like that, tougher enemies mean tougher salvage
