It's pretty ridiculous.

Okay, so officially for the first time ever, I'm going to let you jackholes watch me paint.

I've set up my first P&M blog over at Dakka.

For my Necrons.

Click that link if you want to watch the process of me painting Necrons in an Egyptian theme.

Do it now.

Dunno if any of you have ever seen or heard of this movie called Damnatus. Supposedly it is a fan-made film set in the WH40k universe about a team of mercenaries hired to destroy a Chaos Cult. It had support from GW during production but because of some complexities of German copyright law (where the movie was made) was never released.

I am downloading it now just for kicks.

Oooh, that sounds really interesting... where might I get a copy of the download? Also... I saw there was a CGI fan-movie that a friend linked me the other day... it had a trailer, but never got to finish watching it...

EDIT: Stupid question... found the link on that page x_x

Here is where I downloaded it from. Something tells me it will be German. Kein Problem für mich; Ich spreche der Deutsch, aber Sie könnten nicht.

Hmm, this movie looks interesting...but...I can't get the Enlgish subtitles to appear.
Yes, I'm not software savvy. Zipped files are easy, but this .srt english subtitle file is silly.

Any way I can open this and get my Windows media player to actually show the subtitles?

Alright, VLC works fine, thank you.

And thank you all for the WH40K video. *drools*.

My thoughts...

Special effects were better then expected for a fan film. Mood was right. The last twenty minutes just kinda got weird and 'shucks, how are we gonna end this? now' in a way.

Going to watch it today, but from the first 10 minutes I watched the CGI wasn't half bad, lots of love and effort put in.
