this is the best stf yet. i liked it on tribble but i have yet been able to do it on holodeck as it seems hardly no one wants to group up for it. its current easier to get group for the previous ones. i mean i can get in a group for any stf's at any time except this one for some reason.

is there a reason people are avoiding it??

I agree with most of what's been said; this is the most interesting and fun STF to date. I wholeheartedly endorse the longer space portions, though ground combat is a bit too much of just mindlessly killing the same borg pack over and over again. I also like the end boss, even if she is heavily scripted. It's infinitely more interesting than blowing up a carrier.

One piece of advice for people; if you kill one of the pylons as the shield goes up around it never activate that pylon's code again If you do you'll have to start the ground part over.

Having finally found a team to complete this, I will share my thoughts. I thought the story was good and the progression was good.

However I thought the first part was pointlessly frustrating. Not only can it be difficult to even succeed with the wrong ship and BO power distribution among the team, but barring that once you get your strategy down, it just takes a pointlessly long time to finish it. I think this could be dramatically improved by letting the gate stay open another 5-10s so you choose between hitting the gates hard or chasing the probes. It just gets too repetitive and time consuming while severely penalizing teams that aren't escort heavy. Those teams lacking DD in the first place may never succeed due to getting overwhelmed by spheres eventually.

The next space part was straightforward enough, however the mission doesn't remember that you got past it if you need to continue. The first time I did this, we lost a member who crashed after we finished the second space portion. By the time he returned, the game put him back at the beginning of that portion instead of ready to go to the ground while the rest of us were well into the ground portion. When he quit, the leader left to try and recruit another, but then the leader got stuck with the same issue, even though the leader was definitely on the ground stage at that point. So that seriously needs to be fixed.

The ground stage is generally well designed enough I think, however there are just too many trash mobs. It really could be thinned out a little. While my team made a point of aggroing every node in a room all at once, it just seems like there are too many mobs for no good reason. Certainly part of the challenge is in getting one group at a time, but I felt it was just unnecessary to do it so often and have to fight through so much. But again, part of that may just have been my team's preferred method of shooting wildly and hoping for the best.

The last space part was an interesting battle but it too just went on too long. Since sensor scan didn't do a damn thing against Donatra's ship, I spent the battle watching her cloak and decloak at will, despite being in a science ship and science captain. I couldn't begin to guess if tractor beam had any effect on her ability to cloak, but I don't think it did. And in any case, trying to guess when its best to use it so that you snare her and prevent her from cloaking is kind of futile since it may as well just be one of those times that she was going to stay decloaked for a while. There was simply no tells. She either stayed uncloaked for a bit or she just cloaked in a few seconds. Still I liked the style of the battle, it just took pointlessly long.

Final time, between 4 to 5 hours start to finish. Not fun to have to take that long. Considering how nearly impossible it is to get a team for this mission as it is, you simply MUST go through it in one sitting because you are going to be exceedingly lucky to find anyone who is on an advanced stage of the mission, much less a full team. This of course is markedly different from the Cure and especially Infected. But it just shouldn't take that long.

I agree, "Khitomer Accord" needs a refit bad. 4-5 hrs? I would have died from boredom/rage. Although this STF's story and concept is great the end result is well...bad. Either make the gates in the first space part have their shields down for 20 sec or so instead of 15 and less mobs on the ground and peaple might actually be able to complete it. Hell people are still trying to do "Cure" and seeing that myself and others continue to fail "Accord," I see STF's becoming less active in the future if nothing is changed...

I like the mission as it is. I would play it a lot more, but those bugs (showstoppers) are very annoying and Donatra's Ship (last part) is no fun for me. Cloack, decloack, cloack, decloack, cloack, decloack, etc. 30 minutes of this is a bit to much...
