Every time you read a thread about a STF, there are posts stating "oh, 4 - 6 hours to finish it is just waay to long" and answers saying "but it can be done in an hour!", or vice versa. Since I read the first posts like that I am curious. Curious, what the average time is, what the best times are, how often people tried to finish it until they gave up.

So, I have several questions for you:

• What is your best time for the STF "Infected"?
• What is your average time?
• How often did you finish it by now?
• If you did not finish it yet, how often have you tried?

If you did finish "Infected" and want to post your best time, please do not post your best time pre Season One.


I do not open this thread so that some people can show off their leetness. If you post your best time, you will not see it quoted as "best time xy by abc", but rather "best time xy".

And, please, do not start a discussion whether Infected, or the STF in general, are too hard, too easy, too long, too short, etc.
This is a simple poll. I am curious, and I think a lot more people are, too.

Best times: 0:43:00, 0:45:00, 0:50:00, 0:57:00, 1:05:00, 1:22:32, 1:36:00

Average times: 1:00:00, 1:05:00, 1:30:00, 1:35:00, 2:00:00

How often finished: 6, 20, 24

How often tried: 3 (4th finished), 10


Simple lists, until I have enough data to create a neat graph or whatever.

Haven't beat infected. Tried about 8 10 13 (see signature) times (guesstimate of how many weekends have gone by between now and Infected's release date).

Go ahead. Laugh.

Hmm. My best time is 1:22.32.

1 hour 5 minutes, in a pug. averaging about 1 hour and 30-40 minutes. some bad runs really screwed the results though.

57 minutes, and we waited while one person took a bio mid-way through.

Playing with my fleet my best time for Infected is right around 43min, average is right at 1hr. Our best time for the cure is a little slower at 1hr 7min. And we are still working on getting our KA time cleaned up, it's currently a little over 2.5hrs but we hope to have it at or below 2hrs by the end of the week.

As for times completing Infected, I've pretty much lost count. But I can tell ya how many Marks of Valor I've earned. As of last night I was at 462(spent 105 + 357 unspent) Marks of Valor earned. The 2 marks is left over from the first day Infected was live, when you got 2 Marks for killing the Tacital Cube.

About 45 minutes, in a PUG with 3 veterans and 2 first timers.

Somewhere between 1 and 2 hours, usually.

•How often did you finish it by now?
Just finished my 24th run earlier today.

•If you did not finish it yet, how often have you tried?
Completed or not, I give it a go once a day.

What is your best time for the STF "Infected"?
Around 50 minutes, we should be able to cut a few minutes from that now though if we would run the same group again

What is your average time?
a bit over an hour, if i have to explain the start on some key points to new fleeties/pugs it tends to take a bit longer

How often did you finish it by now?
I lost count, over 20 times atleast though

If you did not finish it yet, how often have you tried?
It took us two or three tries to finish it for the first time
