Reminds me of Tabula Rasa almost that Aku.

At certain points being able to clone yourself and choose an alternate profession -or in this case faction- with the cloned character

Can't see it happening though, this games easy enough to grind as is. If it did happen I'd be more expecting to see new Romulan players start off as say Lt Commander 6 (like Klingons starting at lt 6) and then Cardies if they happened at Commander 6.

It has drifted off topic.

it also helps, to stay 15 km away to team up and then rush in.

Lucky me, most of the time the "sneak in" to 6 km range and un-cloak / un-load at 5ish still works most of the time.

So true, so very true.
I played my first Klink PvP this past weekend and loved it, but a well orginized fedball is a thing of terror - until I use my cloak- then not so much.

Scramble sensors isn't awful as long as you pay attention to U.S.S. or I.K.S.

But the klingball counters the fedball. It's just hard keeping the klingball together because disorganized rabble is common enough on the fed side that disorganized rabble on the klingon side can rely on cloaking to get a few kills and maintain the illusion of competence. Klinks almost always have to deal with one or two elite-ninja-assassins who think that it's a good idea to sneak up on the opposite side of the fedball from everyone else, 15 km from their healers (who are sticking with what's left of the klingball).
