I agree, I like the casual play style this allows but I finally canceled my account.

I enjoy the game, but it presently does not fit what I look for in a MMOG.

The missions have no variation, there really is no instances to go in with a group that are very unique.

The crafting system is non-existent. Exploration is really not there. I don't get the feel of wanting to look around the next corner as i do in other MMOGS.

It was entertaining for what it was worth but after hitting 42 and then re-starting a new class, I hit 6 before I felt like i was just spinning my wheels.

Hopefully they take some of the feedback and criticisms to heart and expand on what they have but overall it is a fun game to play for a short time, but the ability to keep someone coming back for more and more other than PvP just is not here....yet.

PvP is cheap, easy and fast. By contrast, PvE content takes time to develop, and time is money. PvE requires the development of zones, NPCs, quest steps, rewards, and other mission related content.

With a game that was essentially dead on arrival, which route do you realistically expect Atari to go?

First of all, there aren't that many hardcore PvP'ers in this game. I was PvPing this weekend and never saw more than maybe 10 klingons in the RA queues...yes, there were more feds than that, but IMO the hardcore PvPers are generally playing the PvP faction.

Aside, from that, how are "they" ruining the game? My guess is that this is another complaint about the science skill and console nerfs, but without specifics this comes across as yet another rant.

I want my:

1.bunny hops
2.knife kills
4.killing sprees
5.uber taunts
6.weapons equipped with "i win" buttons
7. super secret sniper spots
8. pocket healers
9. wall hacks
10.deadly space dominance, you suck, don't mess with me or i'll taunt your mama "i win" button that you can never use or I'll cry.

That should cover it but I'm sure there's more....

If i truly wanted all these things I'd play MW2 or something like it. I liked the turf wars in WHO but I can clearly see and remember how that killed an otherwise decent game. Well that and a lacking endgame,
basically it was FULL of bugs but that's another story....

OOPS I did forget that...

Sure we could have done the same thing, if our team had the same make up, but it essentailly gave their team an "I win" button. They went 15 / 0 that round.

Second round, they lost won of their Scis, and we won 15 / 9.....That is a big difference, not just because we won, but because it was at least close.
Sub Nucleonic Beam... Everyone hates it but a nerf will go online with the next patch.

I second this. Your OP's rants against PvPers as the cause for issue are illogical. Those of us who PvP can't even get a queue system that works right or the mission to end when one sides leaves the map. We get nothing from the difficulty slider or death penalty, so how are we the ones causing issues???

What the PvPers do want are simple: Klingons finished, a queue system that works, penalties for ditching on maps, and in the future, some Realm vs Realm would be nice. How do what we want change your whole PvE experience?

Yeah, I'm not to sure exacltly what the OP is complaining about here. I don't see what is wrong with people wanting some meaningful PvP in this game. There is a definite lack of stuff to do at RA5, and some open world RvR PvP would add some much needed content. If you don't want to participate that is fine, but please don't say people are ruining your game for wanting something added that is certainly missing.

This topic also brings up a topic. Why do they have a entire sector for PVP when you don't even need to enter the sector to even play PVP.

I don't believe Cryptic is just listening to the PVPers. I think they are doing a good job of listening to everyone. Cryptic is listening, what other MMO out there can say that.

One group, I believe they are listening to much to is the Lifetimers (Which I'm one of), but most of the lifetimers are either the hard core whack jobs or believe Cryptic is making a game just for them or believes everyone plays the game the same why they do so what they want in the game is the best thing to do.
