And unlike in the DS9 missions in STO - the station was under full control by the Dominion for several months! It wasn't just fought over. While the attacks on Deep Space Nine in STO are all still in progress and he enemies are fought back.

Not even to forget the countless of times the Enterprise (TOS and TNG) and Voyager have come under attack by alien life forms, the crew losing complete control of the ship.
Yeah man, Day of the Dove was just awesome. Then there was that mission where a very young Kang and company got their ship blown up just to be saved by Kirk and just happened to be x-ported into main engineering, then half the ship belonged to the Klinks and half to Kirk, and an entity that fed off negative or strong emotions kept them fighting by whatever means were needed...Eventually they found out that positive emotions, or, rather, acting positively using negative emotions and underlying hostility, and throwing all of that positive emotional energy at the entity caused it to lose control and flee before it died out completely...That was another kick-ass ride.

The Organians...I'd love to see a come-back after all of this time!! Let's face it: The galaxy is at war now, it's not just three factions in one quadrant and a half any longer, now we have all four quadrants going at each other by any means possible. The Organians had powers that might just have rivaled the Prophets/Wraiths, maybe even Q for all we know...They simply left because they knew after their imposed peace, the seeds they had planted would need a long time to grow, even if they have started becoming more than violent with each other now, the Organians, I don't see them being ignorant of the seeds they planted themselves...

It wasn't just the Feds and Klinks, it's entirely likely they also did things to keep tabs on the Romulans and maybe other species throughout the galaxy once they 'left'...With things so wildly out of hand, Borg or no Borg, you have to face the fact that their return is probably inevitable, even if The Sisko himself returns with nearly Q-like abilities that he's spent all these years learning from the Prophets, and throws the insane True Way and remnant Dominion forces back into their own domain and seals them there, or throws the Jem'Hadar back to the gamma quadrant where they should have gone the moment that peace treaty was signed (why in the hell did Starfleet permit those Jem'Hadar to remain?! I thought the treaty meant that ALL Dominion assets were to return to the Gamma Quadrant and never return, EVER?? Either Starfleet Intel has been taken over almost entirely by 8472 and all 8472 wants is fighting because they don't have enough ships and troops of their own to launch a full-scale assault against their enemies on their own, so they weaken them this way first, although Terradome...That shall be interesting, I spare no 8472, I don't care who they call themselves or if they're the most perfect biological lifeform to exist, I spare them no quarter, they want to live by the laws of The Weak Shall Perish, fine, let's see them spew that trash while I'm rooting out THEIR weaknesses under my boot after melting them down a while. Idiots.)...

Even if Sisko comes back at some point, to finally carry through on the promises made to his wife and both sons upon leaving, Q will be there to make sure Sisko doesn't carry it too far, after all, Sisko isn't known for having a lot of restraint when the chips are down and his people (half of him will always be Human) are having their backs against the wall, and the back wall is also filled with enemies, the guy may decide to throw his powers around too heavily, and Q may step in to prevent the damage from becoming permanent or harming those who should not be involved...Or Q (one or more of them) might step in to help if things get too bad and one side tries to land up on top of everyone else, that is what Q was always trying to avoid, despite his arrogance and bluster, he always had a purpose behind it, he almost always did what he did to reveal the truth about things to humans and others, helping them understand themselves and one another, so I don't really think bad about Q at all, I like him, he may go too far once in a while, but sometimes extremes are needed to really make a lasting impression, huh?

The Organians would also have incentive to return if one faction/species actually started to destroy the others beyond a certain extent...This would also help to explain the foundations of the Temporal Cold War in the 26th *AND* the Temporal Accords, and I think the Khitomer Accords mission, despite how bugged-out it is right now, was made to represent an evolution of the KA treaties, now that time travel was becoming easier and more were getting into it, the KA treaties were amended or re-written to deal with time travel protocols among any who had time travel abilities, it would explain everything from Braxton's era to Daniels's and the TCW besides all that...They didn't say WHO did the temporal accords, or how, or how early or late it came in the 26th, but the foundations could easily have been laid in the mid 25th century due to incidents like what Janeway did with the Borg Hub and what Spock and Nero got into, what B'Vat did, ETC...Not to mention Q being involved with the KA STF arc, even if people didn't read the text closely enough, Q was involved in the KA STF thing...I just hope the 30th update includes more than another STF, despite how much I want to finally put 8472 under my boot, I want them to repair the totally borked STF's that exist right now too. Why do Terradome if both Cure and KA are hosed due to terrible map design and hosed mesh boundaries and on and on?

I may not be Cryptic, but I know map design, and the mistakes I've seen being made...Sometimes it's hard for me to think they can just glance over big problems like that and not notice it and fix it...They know the problems because they HAVE to do testing with STF's before they go to Holodeck and all, or so they CLAIMED when coming up with Tribble and all (ahem! ), so for them to not fix it, something just isn't adding up.

I know they're ahem...Busy...And all, but these are show-stoppers, we cannot bypass the problems with KA or Cure, and that infinite mosh-pit in Infected should be removed and the enemies just made tougher, given better skills to use, made equal to the players equipments and so on...I'd prefer enemies to fight against me at my own level, rather than mass-spamming spawns like Infected does...I hope the difficulty slider will reflect that.

I'd prefer that higher difficulties don't just mean bigger spawns, I want the enemies tough, on my level or even better, in other words: A REAL CHALLENGE, not just spawning a hundred minor enemies for a cheese-fest.

Who would I have to bribe to get an option to have that deep rumble when zoomed close to ships, like in the video? ^^

So, we've got another cinematic with all kinds of stuff that's not in the game.

Is the ship combat "coming soon" or is this just another marketing guy releasing a video with stuff not in-game so more people get annoyed?

Just wondering.

I'd be willing to bet someone got the missions mixed up. The space stuff we see in this video is exactly what happens in another mission, just not the fleet action.

However, if you search through enough "DS9 fleet action" threads on this forum there are a number of players who are claiming that there was a space portion to the fleet action when they tested it on Tribble, but that this portion went missing once it reached the live server.
