I'm not even sure what he's accusing me of... answering the question? CLEARLY NOT ALLOWED.

Edit: Because sarcasm fails over the internet, YES I know what plagiarism is. However, the person accusing me of it failed to cite any reference to the post which he believes I copy/pasted, therefore I'm treating it as the joke that it is.

Well ofc it is, without their game-breaking beam the game would be closer to balanced, but that will never happen to the dev favorite off type (sci). If they really didn't think it was overpowered and they actually wanted to preserve balance, every off type would get a buff strip in a buff based game.

Nuff said.

Yep, I've tested it under many circumstances and get nothing other than a pretty purple cloud of fuzzies surrounding the target.

SNB does strip RSP according to the release notes

Yeah, it does. I was hoping that it would do both though.

Extend Shields has limitations already, allowing the entire ability to be squashed by a science vessel 10km away wouldn't be right. ES has a limit of 5km max, it does not stop bleed through and is dependent on the giver's shield energy.

And it isn't like it makes something impossible to kill. My ES III can easily give 1750+ shield recharge a second to my team mate who will still be incinerated by ONE escort in less than a second due to stacking tactical buffs.

Faith - Nooo.. what this photonic shockwave you speak of - do not believe Faith , its a very lousy skill

Its bad enough science class had taken majority of the nerf's todate, and have already a tough time, relating to their DPS. I not going to have anymore bag of trick traitor/treason I say A good combo with it is sensor scan & dampening field at the same time

odd... i use it for shiggles in b'tran and it works as advertised. i never expected it to lock out the 3 subsystems all at once though.. so playing with an unbuffed vm3 (12 seconds of systems randomly shutting down) i can see the 4 odd seconds that the engine or weapons go down.

i do feel rather gypped with it since 4 seconds in a pvp setting, while disruptive, is not enough time to properly recoup.
