I have noticed two types of the wandering enemies. One is a ship flying around and the other is a bad looking cloud. What is the difference? Thanks.

This is based on my own personal observations. I believe that a ship is showing when the Encounter has no one playing it and the red cloud is showing when there's already someone in the encounter. I could be wrong.
