"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
Some players want a huge starship with a lot of weapons slots and shield and hull with a "ressistance" out of scale.
Some players want all advantages without penalties.
Some players want a very special equipment and not mach skills.
They as known as The Borg. And they want stand here.
Please, balance on the diferent races are corrects, for a MMO game. Maybe, I was prefer fed with more shield and klingons with more hull than fed. But if we are thinking on the "big picture" we also need include differences for all "space powers". Really only borg has access to all features... and soo much, but to play as drones we can left to ours pc's take the works, beacouse the price is be and act as a drone...
No....
What this WOULD create is a generic all races and factions the same game, no individual uniqueness, everyone has the same thing...oh..by the way...it also means it's not STAR TREK.
In STAR TREK not everyone is using the same things, all ships are not generic paste/copy versions of each other simply with different hull designs for aesthetics.
You also mentioned as a paying consumer you should get to decide the direction of the game and its story arc and future.
I disagree there too, last I checked if you've paid to see ANY of the movies, via theater or rental or store bought, that too makes you a paying consumer and last I checked Paramount doesnt give a didly what you or I think the story "should" be. And they arent going to change it to suit the viewers personal whims.
If you want a "generic" everyone has the same thing game, there are plenty out there (EVE comes to mind), go play that instead as it seems to fit your intended mold and thought processes, but this is Star Trek, and not all races/factions are supposed to be cut and copy versions of each other.
No cloak for feds....no cloak for feds.....it's kinda catchy and usefull as a meditation mantra.....
And yes to another poster, this thread needs to be taken behind the barn and shot dead, then burned and buried...THEN sent to the Russian Front!

Very well written. 2 thumbs up!
Let´s wait for the romulan ships if they have a uniqueness too and if they have how long it takes for some players to start whining that they want it also.
But if we aren't getitng a cloack, can we at least have some more effective means of detecting one?
(Massive photonic shockwave, perhaps?
IMHO, the current PvP instances are too small to give any additional cloak detection.
However, if we ever get big, and I mean REALLY BIG persistent PvP Neutral Zone, with MASSIVE 100v100 kinds of instances, with fleet starbases, and territories to defend or conquer then I can see possibley the following 2 addtional cloak detections.
1) Listening becons - that can detect cloak ships within a certain range, or course, these would become targets for cloaked factions to want to take out. Should only be placed by Science Ships.
2) Probes, that fire only directly ahead, only be science ships, that detect cloaked ships within a certain range of the probe passing a cloaked ship.
I think those could had some interesting elements without giving away the farm in cloak detection.
I offer these as a Klingon player myself. Again, todays maps are way too small, but might be ok in really big future maps.
But, as to the OP, NO, NO cloaked Fed Ships, it just ain't right....
Maybe if the Federation was in a state of war with the Romulan Empire also... but since it isn't... nah.
Besides, a cloaked Starfleet goes against the very grain of what the Federation is in Star Trek.
LOL
Sorry I just have to ask. You think a Federation Cloak goes against the very grain of the Federation. How about killing everything in sight? I think that is more of a violation of what the Federation is about then a cloak ever would be. And I think we should get Ablative Armor with stats like Voyager had in End Game against the Borg.
