I am returning to STO after about 9 months away and looking for a good fleet to join. Preferably uk based (or at least has a good qty of uk members). I have no problem with joining a small or emerging fleet as long as there's someone around to chat to.
Would like to join a fun and relatively casual fleet as, as RL commitments mean I cant dedicate a huge number of hours per week, but I will certainly be around for at least a couple of hours.
What can I bring to the table? 1x lvl 45 Tac R.Admiral in a DSSV, and a LT5 Eng making his way up through the ranks of Escort piloting.
A large portion of our members are from the UK, including myself. We are a large, highly organised fleet, but we cater to both the hard-core enthusiast and the casual gamer. In return for membership access to all our gaming events and community facilities, all we ask are for our members to sign a monthly roll call... just to let us know they're still about. Beyond that, you're free to come on whenever you like and just have fun, keeps things simple.
If you have any questions feel free to visit our website at www.ufplanets.com or PM me personally. You're also welcome to hop on our TeamSpeak 3 server at any time (ts.ufplanets.com port 9987, no password).
Good luck with your search.
To add to what Champion said, we have a lot of british people in our fleet and I even hope to organize an international fleet meeting somewhere in London next year.
We tried keeping such a meeting in Manchester earlier this year but since a lot of people were on vacation I spent 5 days with just a single fleet mate there.
Just trying to say we have a lot of UK based players hehe, you're all a fun bunch to hang out with and it'd be awesome to see more british in the fleet. ^_^
(I'm dutch myself btw.)
We have a fun community going and the fleet has casual as one of the core foundations, some members even take breaks for several months from the game to return later, while they're gone they stay part of the fleet and don't have to re-apply to the fleet itself when they return.
