# 1 Refer a RETURNING Friend
05-07-2010, 07:32 PM
i have a question about the refer a friend.

if i'm understanding the posts here, for a new player, the referral could work with the buddy key if the referral is placed BEFORE entering the buddy key, is that correct?

my other question is if the referral bonus will count if you refer a friend who has had an activa account more than 30 days ago? In other words if you wish to refer someone who has already played the game, what is the minimum inactive time limit for this?

any help is appreciated,
G.

Good questions.

I have a friend who played, and quit.

If I can get them to come back, do I get anything?

I am bumping this too. I know a lot of players that could be convinced to come back with some of the recent changes. Maybe though. A lot of my friends were burned really bad at the start of this game.

I think so, I remember reading something about this posted in another topic by a GM, but I'm not 100% sure about this. I think the answer is yes they are fine since those are keys are still to trial accounts. I think the refer key is only null and void if the account already has a retail key added yet.

ok crap, 2 of them have already added a reatail key to their accounts, and the 3rd is kinda waiting on me to find out about the referal bit, as it will help him get to a higher lvl quicker.
