I am slightly confused by the bonuses on the starship weapons, and would like some clarity please?
Firstly I have been upgrading my ship with +20% Critical Severity weapons, assuming that if I have 3 cannons on the front with this bonus, I would be dealing a +60% Critical Severity. From reading the forum post's it sounds like this is not case but it is still unclear, can this possibly be true?
Considering you only do a critical hit every 2-5% of the time this seemed like a reasonable stat. But if the +20% Critical Severity bonus only applies to that weapon, then it hardly seems worth the effort of spending all that extra money in the exchange for rare weapons. It seems even less worth it when buying a weapon with +10% Accuracy, my weapons hardly ever miss, so why would I want an extra 10% Accuracy???
Also an extra 2% chance to make a critical hit??? Seems pointless to me unless you can stack it up to 10%.
If there is a developer or moderator out there, can you please clear this up for me?
Also I don't understand why I cannot find any stats regarding my weapon load out? Please advise?
The bonuses are specific to each weapon, not cumulative. But trust me, it's worth it. With enough points extra for weapons, across all the different systems that affect them, that extra 20% can be a pretty big deal when you crit.
