No. No one is entitled to have something just because they want it. The MU uniforms are extremely rare to see in game because of what they represent and there is no reason that should change. Its nice to look at someone and instantly know they not only play Champions, but they made a big leap of faith on the game (or had ridiculous amounts of cash for STO stuff).
Sure it sucks if you were willing to buy the CO LT but didn't have the cash, but that's life. You don't get what you want all the time. For everyone else, just get over it.
I would support offering them along with future Champs lifetime offers. I would possibly support offering them as dual Vet rewards, as in having a certain amount of veteran status in both games before they unlock. I would definitely support other versions of MU uniforms like the Enterprise uniforms, as C-store unlocks.
Instead of demanding something that you don't have and should not have, why not go after a more reasonable alternative, like hey, Enterprise Era MU uniforms? You people that want MU uniforms only want them because of how they look, not because of what they represent. But the current MU uniforms should stay rare, because they mean something. And that should not change.
I wear mine not just because my characters look awesome in them, but because I like to show off that yeah I play Champs too, and I LIKE it. Some people have actually heckled me about it, because they know what it means. You make them available to any one via Cstore and it just loses its meaning entirely.
I think it's messed up to ever lock people out of gaining access to a portion of charactar creation permanently.. We should be free to create any online persona we desire.. That goes for Borg Captain too and the temba badge.. Both items I currently possess.
You could even just offer it up for future CO lifetime subscriptions.. There just should be some means for people to aquire this if they desire it badly enough for their characters.
