Ok, so I'm now watching Suzuka, purely by finding them on Funimation's Youtube chanel.

I also watched the 4 eps of Sasami: Magical Girls Club that were up too; I also (but not immediately) noticed that Brittney Karbowski (who voiced Himeko Katagiri in Pani Pnoi Dash!) voices a character in it...

There was this anime I watched a long time ago that I enjoyed but I forget the name. It was a one-off and told the story of a man and woman sending messages to each other on distant ends of the galaxy but the messages arrive too late (I believe the male protagonist gets his spaceship shot down).

Anyone know the name?

I'm fairly sure it's voices of a distant star.

Tora Dora! rewatched, and yet again cried at the ending...

Been watching Heroic Age, and it's pretty damn cool now that I've got into it. It's like a cross between Ender's Game and a Greek myth.

Yoyu knopw, I really enjoyed last Exile EXCEPT I thought the final ending blew chunks. Up to that point the stiory was amazing.

I thought Last Exile was amazing. The ending was kind of a "WTF? For real?" kinda moment, but after watching both Neo Genesis Evangelion and Utawarerumono these kinda twists don't really phase much anymore.

Heh, I remember liking the first half of Last Exile. I don't even remember the ending. It must've been so bad that I blocked it out. :p

Last Exile had flying battleships. That alone earns it my praise.
