A quick synopsis for those interested:

In the not too distant future mankind has spread across the solar system. No true FTL flight, but travel between the planets is facilitated by hyperspace gates.

In this future there is a ship named the Bebop with eventually 4 bounty hunters and their dog. There is a former mob enforcer Spike Spiegel, former cop Jett Black, the woman without a past and a gambling addiction Faye Valentine, kid computer genius Edward, and their super intelligent dog Ein.

They are the best bad bounty hunter in the system. You see, in order to collect a bounty, the bounty must be alive. However they always seem to end up getting over their heads and so rarely actually end up collecting their bounty. They travel across the system, meeting interesting people, having crazy adventures, and trying to make a buck.

All the while their tragic pasts that they are running from occasionally catch up with them. Each crew member has an interesting backstory about how they ended up on a beat up old spaceship like the Bebop living from one job to another.
You make this sound like a group of accountants that work for some non discript government department and are conducting surprise audits on various department managers.

I watched Summer Wars last night. Well, it kept me quiet.

And now I've got flu (again) so I've watched volume 1 of Suzuka and volume 2 awaits.

Like Wall-E, when I say that movie with friends and family everyone kept going on and on and on about the cute characters but when I asked them about the statement it made on our dependence on computers and social networking they gave me this blank stare, like I was the moron for not noticing the cuteness....

Over all, though, I enjoyed the movie but could think of several better movies Funimation could have chosen to throw in a theater. Like Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 1st or Strait Jacket to list a few.

Eh, the only people I know who watch anime proper are you lot. Consider yourself seconded.

Also, Suzuka volume 2 was watched last night and I've watched 11 & 12 on Youtube, and 13 is being watched. Not the eng dub, you understand, but the eng sub.

Ok, maybe I rushed in making last nights post. I watched the entire rest of the run (16 episodes!) last night, all in virtually one go.
