You seem to be confused, like several other countries, the United States observes daylight savings during the summer hence the reason why it says 3 AM PDT and not PST which would be standard time. Which the whole reason for an entirely seperate naming scheme is to avoid this whole confusion in the first place. At any rate, 3 AM PDT is 10 AM GMT. For more information, you may consult your local wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time. Which ironically is the same local wikipedia.

Please stop this nonsense. This has been discussed many times already and Cryptic shows the right times.

I'll tell it one more time: GMT does NOT, I repeat does NOT, change with DST. The UK is now at GMT+1 also known as British Summer Time (BST)

edit:

for more information about GMT check here

and something that looks like GMT, aka UTC

LT-Crash (----- is making an incorrect statement.

In thee end does it really matter? Would you rather they fix this minor error that doesn't effect how the game runs only when OR would we rather thee important things get worked on?

Yeap. Thing is, Britain observes daylight savings time as well:

Lt. Crash is right on the money. Cryptic's listed times have (correctly) gone from PST to PDT with the start of daylight savings. However, they haven't converted from GMT to BST, so they're not accounting for British daylight savings. That is the source of confusion for British players.

However, there's more countries in the world than America and Britain. It still makes sense for them to list times in GMT, because that's more friendly for players around the world.

This might seem like a minor thing, but MMO players are notoriously intolerant of game downtime. Thus accurate listing of downtime is critically important to avoid players freaking out like rabid weasels.
