I don't know about anyone else but I think Torpedo Spread should do more damage than it currently does in the game. At the very least, it should do about the same damage as using High Yield. Discuss.

The damage on it is fine, what I find annoying is that it flies to the location that the target was at rather than is at. Its only useful at very very close range.

Yes its truly unbelieveable that at the close of the 24th Century they would still have dumbfire torpedo weapons.

If a single torpedo can track a target than a spread of torpedoes can track a target as well.

Torpeodspread is fine.

Fire in close range or use tractors / spatial anomalie to focus the target.

Spread should do as much damage as HYT and be able to track the target. Simple as that really.

Alternatively, turn it into the equivelent of Fire At Will with each torpedo tracking a seperate target with larger AOE damage at the cost of single point damage. Making the multi-target skills more useful would certainly be an improvement at this point.

The damage is fine. Sure, I wouldn't mind if it was more - who would? - but its not really neccessary. I usually use Gravity Well before I fire. If those torpedos would really track the target, it would already help enough.

The dmg is calculated at the launch..so even if target runs away of the impact area, he will still be hit. Torpedo spread currently is one aoe sphere attack with very limited range. The several torps are just pure graphic.

What you mean when it rarely fires several at a time its just a graphic feature? It's not like a critical with tons of damage dealing torps - man that really ruins my day.

I like this idea but I think it's wrong. I believe torpspread was commonly used when a taget could not be visually identified. Where in game it is designed to be aoe dmg I like the idea of each torp pursuing a seperate targets.
