Shouldn't this question be more along the lines of : "What happened to the end of my pencil? Someone broke off the end?"

Then we'd reply, "You're pencil is pointless, so use a pencil sharpener to get it back."

If I ever get my hands on making stuff for the Star Trek universe, I would make Work ridiculously overpowered. Like Brock Samson overpowered.
