Which may or may not end up adding more stuff to the plate of the poor overworked Costume Guy... which would probably take precedence and push everything else back, including delaying the costumes for the "not-getting-any-less-behind-schedule" 700-day Android even more.

That picture was amongst the references used for the in-game species. By not using the new hairstyles you can have what you're suggesting.
