Ok am I the only one who thinks that this skill is OP? Now that Reverse shield polarity has been nerfed to shiz... there is no counter and I am sorry but dying over and over again in missions takes away from the whole star trek feel... there should be a way to counter this skill! or at least make the countdown for it far longer! I mean the sovereign class starship was made to take out borg and here I sit with no chance in hell on taking on a cube if it has any spheres or probes around it... If I am just being a noob let me know but I really think that there should be a counter for this skill... if not at least make the cooldown timer on this skill 5 min or what not... just so we actually stand a chance in hell against these cubes solo. just a suggestion. What does everyone else think? It takes away from the overall star trek feel. If there is a counter please share and I am willing to listen.

the effect only last about 10s, and you an EM out of there (in any direction) in less than 2s.
the cube is slow enough that it have no chance of overtaking you, even if you are only on 25% engine speed.

I eat these things up in my BoP, but it's two or three rounds of stick and move.
runaway or not they can use the skill indefinatly! and as many times as they want! almost as if it has no cool down timer! so I leave get my shields up and whallaaaaaa down again! so remind me what the purpose is for running away??? I can understand BOP and escorts but what is the purpose for this in a cruiser? Our damage doesnt come in burst it is more over time damage so running away is assanine. I am a tank gosh dangit... and I know I can switch to hull tanking... BUT hull tanking against anyone but the borg fails! so it is a waist of a skill realocation for me to change my build! so like I said there should be a counter besides fleeing with my tail between my legs.

unless your tracoter beamed, or they chase u down... yes ive been chased by cubes before
Unfortunately, hull tanking is what you do when you face them and their shield bleach power. I generally swap out my BOffs to accommodate this, and it's usually sufficient. I don't know what/how you've specialized with your skill points, but if it's that debilitating to you when you fight them, you might be stuck until other options are introduced into the game, or some Borg-fighting non-hull-tanker can share his or her guru wisdom with you.
