The astounding lack of relevant information from my Countrymen aside, a Milky Bar is a very thin bar of white chocolate made by Nestlé, which had been advertised since 1961 by a series of skinny white blond kids with glasses, known as "The Milky Bar Kid". The kid's had more faces than Doctor Who, and is as much a British institution as him.

Milky Bars are also sold in Australia, India, South Africa , Ireland, and New Zealand, and also in Europe, although it uses the name Galak.

I've actually had one, there's an Irish import's store not that far from here that I shop at every now and again.

Though I find a stop at Trader Joe's to buy a brick of White Chocolate is faster.
