Because they definitely read Ten Forward.

Dear Mars,

Why is my M&M package made of plastic now, and not paper? Why do I no longer get to experience that wonderful feeling of ripping open a paper wrapper before devouring the delicious chocolate tablets within?

And why do my M&Ms taste slightly different than they did a month ago?

Not cool.

Hugs & Kisses,

SaintHazard.

Now I have to go to the store and check this out...

(Not sure which is more concerning, extra waste created by even-more-non-bio-degradeable packaging or candy tasting weird, hmmm?)

Dear Customer:

Because our corporate buddies at BP happened to have a lot of extra petro-chemicals lying around?

Why did I laugh so hard at this? It's not funny but I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm more worried about the "M&M Experience," which is what I call opening a package of M&Ms and eating them.

It includes ripping paper.

Now there's no paper to rip.

WTF mate.

And WTH is with these thin plastic bottles that in my manly hands of justice crumble even when full? Why? When I'm trying to rehydrate I don't want my hand obliterating a bottle and showering me with liquid!

Oh, and Saint... SKITTLES FTW!

We have Reece's Pieces in England. They've always come in a plastic bag here. And Reece's cups.

Ohh, the Off-Licence over the road to me sells the cups. I may have to get some...

Alright... I have a concession that will make everyone happy here.

Spree. It comes in either paper or cardboard wrappers and while it is not chocolate it is just as sweet.

Oh, and Reese's Pieces are also acceptable... but lack paper wrappings, at least where I live.
