Does it do anything to them to make them more effective? Will torpedo spread make Chronitons slow down a target even more? Will it make Transphasics cause a large amount of shield bleedthrough on all sides?

For that matter, does high yield make Transphasics more devastating with multiple strikes against a target with full shields?

Can anyone answer?

i would imagine that chrono torps would benifit from this more then anything else, seeing that their proc of slowing down/slowing turn rate would then be a aoe rather then a single target, mind you it still requires the target(s) to be grouped fairly close to be effective. as for transphasic, i suppose that in theory itlll do the same thing but since their damage is so low i wouldnt bother.

I'm also interested in this. My Advanced Escort is using Torpedo (Spread) with a Chroniton Torpedo Launcher-- I figured, logically, hitting a group of enemies with an AoE blast would have many chances to proc the slow effect. I hope this is the case; I've not had much testing with it since I just outfitted the ship this afternoon. Anyone have experience?
