I got my Galaxy X today, the last two referrals cleared. I did not get this $50.00 in C-Points however.

My Fleet was awed by this ship. The half a dozen people present all asked me how I got it? Apparently they don't frequent the forums. What a strange game this must be to them as they are not aware of the demand threads so must not understand the sudden nerfs and changes.

These half a dozen people are willing to get 5 friends to subscribe and sub to get ships like mine!

I'm sure there are many more like them (my fleet has like a hundred or more people in it).

Cryptic you might want to wait for awhile before putting the Galaxy X in the C-Store regardless of the uproar as we X owners continue to advertise this ship and more people flock to the referral.

I'm pretty sure that $225.00 beats anything they could get for it in the C-Store. There are no cheaper copies of the game to be had than $30.00 or more.

I'm not sure if Cryptic is aware, but even the Steam sale catered to only one game per account.

So Cryptic, postpone putting the Galaxy X up on the C-Store for a month, or two, or twenty, just to see if the referrals start rolling in.

And so multiply the People Complaining? Currently we have ~10 or 15, which produce more than enough garbage for 100 persons, thats more than enough, thanks.

Try contacting Cryptic though, it sometimes helps.

So you and others in your fleet can and will refer others? Good for them... but what will stop them referring others when the ship goes on the C-Store? If they refer then they get it for free, others who can't get friends to join or already did before the referral system went live can get it via C-Store. It doesn't stop you or anyone else referring people so don't try making it seem that way.

If they use the referral program, then there are 5 referrals who don't get the ship per person that does.

Buying it from the C-Store means everyone can have one.

Defeats the purpose of the referral program.

Perhaps if you could disassociate from your personal wants it would make some sense.

Didn't someone get a e-mail from Cryptic that the deadline was extended to late July?

I don't want the Galaxy X, I'd like to have it yes but not as much as others. Referral program means one person can get five into the game and get the ship for free. Nothing stops those people from then getting it via C-Store whether they come as a referral or buy the game elsewhere. You can choose to ignore that fact if you want but it will still be there.

I do understand that people are upset over it but it was a ship that was wanted long before it became a referral system reward and it was never listed as exclusive to the referral system. I can also understand some feeling lied to but they weren't and when the reaction to it coming to the C-Store fades they'll see that they weren't lied to at all.

If the tos connie, a newb ship, is 800 points chances are this ship will be 1000-2000 points...it's free if you refer people!

Plus with referals you get around 40 dollars of free cpoints and a special tribble and a special boff....

Still much prefer to get the referrals personally. If by december I don't have a GX via referrals then I'll buy the cstore one...
