Agreed. The T5 Galaxy is looking a bit promising for when we do

The Galaxy X isn't fully Tier 5, only has Tier 4 slots, consoles and BO slots. Unless you mean another Tier 5 Galaxy Class...

I mean the one, I thiink, they plan on releasing as the T4 upgrade. I ain't 'bout to shell out $25 for a ship, unless its an Ambassador but even then that's a big if. I think they saud there'll possibly be T5 versions of the T4 ships in the future.

I would like T5 versions of T3 ships. Gimme a T5 Akira, and I'll be happy forever or until something better comes along.

T5 escorts are all ugly little frackers, with the exception of a couple (Dervish, Prometheus, Cerberus) and out of those only one is a true escort (Dervish). And I'm even getting tired of the look of the Dervish.

Although if I don't get a T5 Akira, I'll still be happy with a T5 Defiant.

Only know that they are working on an upgrade system not the ships involved or really any details.

But yes, a Tier 5 Akira would be awesome.

Edit: To laud Hazard's magnificent skills.

An Akira? it had rice-paper hull plating and balsa-wood construction under it. By far the largest and least maneuverable and frail escort in game. i absolutely hated mine. I was also amazed they put the Steamrunner in the same customization options as the Akira, seeing as how the Steamrunner was a long-range artillery piece. Not exactly escort material.

While I love my Fleet Escort I think I could see myself using a Defiant again for it's nimble flight capabilities.

Call me strange but I really never grew an attachment to any ship where if I got a new one I'd really miss the old one, perhaps only if my fleet escort goes obsolete but even then I'm not so sure i would.

You're confused. See, I don't care how well my ship performs. I want it to look cool. Because this is a video game, and it really doesn't matter how often you win if you can't look cool doing it.

This. Right here. This explains my entire video gaming philosophy. Well most of it. The rest involves bunnies.

To each their own.

But yes, I want an awesome looking ship, not a compromise because the face pushed in a wood chipper ugly ship has slightly better stats
