A few BO abilities etc need the graphics altered to incorporate the third naecelle. A few examples being eject warp plasma and transwarp

Warp can only be seen as a problem by other people as the third naecelle is hidden by the others.

but you can just see it when it shoots off into the distance

I always notice it when i go to warp... looks silly, needs to be fixed never the less.

This is not limited to the Galaxy-X. 4 nacelle ships can suffer from the same issue. It was particularly notable when they added warp engine glow in Sector Space on Tribble. Only 2 mof my Advanced Escorts nacelles did glow at warp.

Yeah, every ship with more than 2 nacelles has this problem.

What gives? The trails work right from the 4-nacelle models, how hard is it to add the proper number of glow FX lights to the models too...

I actually went and googled to see if someone had actually come up with something like that :p

The only thing I can think of is that the warp effect lights might not be part of the model, but just told where to go based on the model... that seems to be an overly complicated way of doing it, though. And doesn't explain why trails work and the warp effect doesn't.

I haven't seen many complaints about this so far, so I figure the real reason it has not been done is that it got no priority. It is a pretty minor thing and you will not see the effect that often. If they got the warp glow in sector space back (please, get it back), they might change the priority.
