yes game needs pvp like this that change the sectors etc and with that give small bonuses to the sides that hold it like better crafted gear (wich means klingons needs crafting system to) uppgradable bases and defenses that anyone can pay for and keep upkeep until it gets released or destroyed ...

Thank you. These subjects could use all the support from the community it can get. It will benifit everyone not just PvP players.

But it definatly will also help to keep the Pvp comunity content, longer then the current system.

This thread here is not asmuch about capturing anything as it is destroying an outpost.

This is simply a never ending battle. They could have a Klingons Space Station in Klingon Space and a Fed Space station at the border in Fed Space..

Near the warzone area. They could claim they are border outposts ment to defend the neutral zone.
Well, if recent Dev posts are anything to go by, Open space based PvP (in a sector block) is something they WANT to add - and are discussing ways to do it; and even though I'm not an avid PvPer myself, I would DEFINITELY go for this type of PvP. Here's hoping they can add this in and it works.

The feds did not really have a chance to set up a defense fleet wise, They would just appear and pop for you.
Kind of. I mean, remember, their respawn point is very heavily defended by static clusters of turrets. Tractors, Torps and Phasers. They're pretty powerful anti-camping tech. We weren't really camping them either. As the fighting was taking place about 14 km outside of the range of the turrets, so the feds had a chance to respawn, recover and rejoin the fight. Two of us Klingons went in to shoot at the clusters of turrets.

It was really epic. I had always wondered what would happen if a side pushed on towards the homebase.

I'm only sharing my story. Your idea from your orginal post is interesting and creative. And I'm sure would have some cool applications in future PVP map designs.

Good to hear that. And I admit I have often thought about that aswell in Pvp but you just dont have time to if the other team is good. You are forced into breaking up their stratgey to cap hold point. there is really two way to play cap and hold offensive and defensive. I have found it is a combanation of organizing your team to work together and switch between the two stances.

But yes if anyone likes this idea please show your support!! We can always use your support.

Excellent! Hope to get more people on board with this idea, or my other capturable sector block thread.

If you would like a link to it please ask.

i think its a great idea (and not just because were in the same fleet ). but ofc before they do this they might need to balance fvk pvp. also power up escorts! grr.
