Ok guys, just started a klingon toon, have a feddie toon RA 2. Just about my first experience with PvP, didnt really do any as a feddie, but right now i am having a lot of trouble finding a PvP match. I que up with the sidebar option and i go to all the systems with PvP but i cant find a match. I know Im probably just missing something huge, either that or there are so few numbers of people in PvP (KvK or FvK) at any time to have a game starting. What am I missing?
When the little box appears that says you have been included in a PVP match do you click engage, or do you check your PVP tab to see if it has popped?
I hit 'engage', but thats only when it pops up, which is not so often. Is it just the fact that there arent enough players on at any one time? Im always qued up, and when the box appears I always hit 'engage'. But the problem is it doesnt come up very often.
In February it would take me an hour to get into a PvP game because there weren't enough Klingons for FvK. These days it takes me 4+ hours to get into a game because there aren't enough players on either side.
Lt. tier is sparse...sorta gotta get lucky and hit a "Prime Time" (7pm est to 11pm est seems best).
If I was you (and I know I am not, but...) and you want to see the "Action", I would quest (exploration quests) through Lt. as fast as you can, as the LtCom tier is usually pretty steady during like a 12 hour window instead of a 4 hour one...with activity in the US AM when Euros hop on also.
Right now, LtCom is the most active tier (unless you are part of a 5 man BG Klink team) slowing a bit at Com, and getting so slow at Capt you will probably also want to quest through that tier (I quested 9 hours on my Klingon Capt yesterday and hit 5 matches, all space).
Once at RA....err...BG, if you can find 4 more (only 3 for ground, as it pops with 4v4) Klingons who are on when you are, you can control and enjoy almost endless PvP at your whim, as the queues are almost always full (at least 4-5 anyways, if not tons more) of feds who want their daily badges.
