Congratulations to Thehybrid and Coldsteel6d on winning the contest. This is a good move by Cryptic and I believe that most members of the community will greatly appreciate it.
From what I've seen in the comments above, if there's one thing we've shown it is that we can all be reasonable about something, as long as it is reasonable in itself. So I'm still hoping Cryptic will reconsider the lottery contest concept and just be a little bit more professional about things next time.
Personally, Coldsteel6d's story is my favourite. Turning around space flight capability and warp capability so drastically, that's incredibly creative.
Congratulations, although no mention of the bar setting. Sorry, I tried not to troll, but after the 1st winner debacle, it's hard not to notice that missing.
I actually do like this concept of the alien much better than the mind fighting borg beating one though.
I'll say it again, probably because I know this thread won't be locked :p
Congratulations to Thehybrid
Congratulations to Coldsteel6d
Thank you Cryptic for helping to restore some faith in the contests. I hope the team will reconsider the use of lottery drawings as the only means of gaining entry into beta. Putting something exciting and sought after on the line encourages more people to participate and become creative, I think.
Congratulations, although no mention of the bar setting. Sorry, I tried not to troll, but after the 1st winner debacle, it's hard not to notice that missing.
The way I interpreted it, it was never explicitly stated that we had to keep to that setting. I know I didn't.
